Patchwork Pillow of Socks

I love patchwork cloth and couldn't resist the temptation to make this pillow when I had an overload of worn-out socks to get rid of and some old pillow sponges that my mother had no use for anymore. I can't remember how many socks I used to make this, but I do know that most of them were made of cotton and elastan. The patches were sewed together by sewing machine, but when I noticed that the pillowcase was too big, I had to roll it and attach the excess cloth by hand. This turned the excess cloth into a part of the stuffing and, as you can see on the photo, the alterations are barely visible.
